“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” -Hebrews 6:10 (NIV)
I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I worry that I’m not good enough or that I don’t do enough to call myself a good christian. Sometimes I feel like I need constantly be doing more just to try to live up to the call God gives us through Christ. But here, the author of Hebrews reminds us that we don’t have to worry, because not only does God remember what we have done, but God also knows the love and compassion for one another that we have in our hearts. That doesn’t mean we don’t keep working to be God’s force for good in this world. It does mean; however, that we don’t have to be perfect to be good christians and people of God.
